‘The River Arun at Luxwood’
Ethelbert White R.W.S, N.E.A.C, L.G. British (1891-1972). 'The River Arun at Luxwood'. This is home turf for White. Although he traveled and worked in Europe, his home for much of his life was Sussex. There he was inspired to paint many of his best landscapes and scenes of rural life. White's work is represented in many public and private collections and he also illustated several books. He was a member of the New English Art Club, RSW, RSW and was a regular exhibitor at the Royal Academy.
