A Superb Oak & Brass Box or Trunk,with silk lined padded interior, rare inset handles and the number 22, altered from 20, the number 20 denoting the 20th Regiment of Foot (East Devonshire), altered to 22 denoting the Cheshire Regiment. This would have belonged to an Officer of the Regiment for transporting his important military regalia on campaign, and still retains the original lock and key.
