Circa 1900 a small Edwardain Inlaid Nursing Chair
Circa 1900 a pretty Edwardian open armchair of small proportions. The carved and pierced fret splat has foliate marquetry depicting 2 griffins with a further panel of marquetry above of 2 cherbus. The circular seat below bordered in boxwood stringing has a further marquetry panel to the fore. The whole raised on turned legs with brass and porcelain casters. An especially pretty armchair ideal for a bedroom, re-upholstered in damson velvet.
